Gaia 3 is the Windows application for accessing, visualizing and sharing location content. Gaia 3 lets you seamlessly access and use a vast array of location content and services from your Windows desktop – including Microsoft Virtual Earth, Yahoo! Maps, Google Earth KML/KMZ, OGC GML, ESRI Shapefiles, OGC WMS, WFS, WCS services and more.

Gaia 3 was developed with CarbonTools PRO, an extension to Microsoft .NET Framework that supports advanced location content handling, mapping and sharing. Software developers can get the Gaia 3 source code by purchasing CarbonTools PRO.

  • Microsoft Virtual Earth? Google Earth? No Problem - Gaia 3 lets you use the location content you want. Microsoft Virtual Earth, Yahoo! Maps, Google Earth KML/KMZ, OGC GML, WMS, WFS and WCS, ESRI Shape, Autodesk and MapInfo formats and more are all supported.
  • Create and share your own Notes - Gaia 3 lets you create and customize your own geospatial Notes with text and pictures. You can even use geotagged pictures in your Notes.
