First Location-Based Social Networking Conference ‘A Success’

WASHINGTON, DC, October 10, 2006 – The Carbon Project and the Homeland Defense Journal hosted the first Location-Based Social Networking (LoSoNet™) for Crisis Management Conference on October 3 at the Sheraton National in Arlington, Virginia. The conference featured detailed discussion on how to apply social networked approaches to homeland security and defense programs to enhance situational awareness.
